❓ Why Isn’t Delivery Free?
We’re often asked this, so we want to be completely transparent.
Unlike mass-produced bedding, every Tuck Me Under order is made to order. Your bedding is cut, sewn, packed and dispatched individually — often in larger, heavier parcels than standard home bedding.
Delivery charges reflect:
Secure, tracked shipping for bulky, made-to-measure items
Protective packaging to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition
The true cost of shipping bespoke products safely, rather than averaging costs across mass orders
Instead of hiding delivery costs in our product prices, we choose to price honestly and transparently — so you only pay for what your order actually requires.
Why Expedited Production Costs More
Expedited orders don’t just ship faster — they are generally done in overtime hours,. The additional cost reflects the real impact of prioritising your order without compromising quality.
The result?
Fair pricing
No shortcuts
No surprises at checkout
✅ Our Recommendations Before Ordering
To make sure your order arrives when you need it — and without unnecessary stress — we recommend:
Order early whenever possible Bespoke bedding isn’t taken from a shelf. Ordering ahead avoids peak-season delays and gives you the widest choice of fabrics.
Choose expedited production only if you genuinely need it If you have a fixed trip date, priority production is ideal. Otherwise, standard production offers the best value.
Order everything for one bed at the same time This ensures fabric consistency and avoids multiple delivery charges.
Ask us if you’re unsure If you’re ordering for the first time, changing vans, or working to a deadline, we’re happy to advise before you order.
💬 A Final Note
Every Tuck Me Under order is cut, sewn and checked individually. We don’t mass-produce, outsource, or rush — and that care is reflected in both our pricing and delivery.

If you still have questions please feel free to either email enquiries@tuckmeunder.co.uk or try our online chat, we try to answer as quick as we can.
Q. I can't see that you make bedding for my van, does that mean you don't make it for mine?
A. If you can sleep on it we can make bedding for it, it may be that we don't have the measurements but we love diagrams so if you have one, send it to us at enquiries@tuckmeunder.co.uk and we will make the bedding to fit
Q. I have a topper on my mattress, if I order a sheet will this fit?
A. We assume a depth of 15cm on mattresses, if yours is less or more simply let us know in the notes section or email us at enquires@tuckmeunder.co.uk with your order number and we will make the bedding to fit your depth (including topper)
Q. I really like your Tuck Me Under design duvet covers, do I need one of your duvets?
A. Yes. If you want to take advantage of our Tuck Me Under design you will require a Tuck Me Under shaped duvet, this is the only way we can guarantee that you will have a comfortable duvet fit. But once you've got your duvet you are available to order new duvet covers in the future with Tuck Me Under as these will still fit as they are our design.
Q. It's hard to tell if the colour of the duvet cover will match my interior, how can I check?
A. You are welcome to visit our showroom here in Long Eaton Nottingham to see the range.
We can send live video of the design via Whatsapp or email.
Alternatively for £3.50 we can send up to 3 small cut off samples of your chosen design in the post.
Q. Why does it take so long to get my bedding?
A. There is no such thing as "off the shelf" when it comes to bedding for caravans and motorhomes. So for us to offer a great selection of colours, materials and designs we make everything to order for YOUR van.
Q. How will I know when my bedding is on its way?
A. We will send you tracking information when your bedding is shipped so you can track it and ensure you are in to rip it open and see your gorgeous bedding.
Frequent questions about protectors
Is a mattress protector really needed for my caravan or motorhome?
In a word....Yes, a mattress protector is highly recommended for your caravan or motorhome for several reasons:
1. **Protection against Spills and Stains**: A mattress protector acts as a barrier, safeguarding your mattress from spills, stains, and accidents, ensuring it stays clean and hygienic.
2. **Enhanced Durability**: By preventing direct contact with dirt and moisture, the mattress protector helps prolong the lifespan of your mattress, saving you from premature wear and tear.
3. **Dust Mite and Allergen Barrier**: A quality mattress protector can create a barrier against dust mites and allergens, making it an excellent choice for allergy-prone individuals, promoting healthier sleep.
4. **Temperature Regulation**: Some mattress protectors come with breathable and moisture-wicking properties, helping to regulate body temperature for a more comfortable sleep in various weather conditions.
5. **Comfort and Softness**: Investing in a high-quality mattress protector can add an extra layer of comfort and softness to your mattress, enhancing your overall sleeping experience.
6. **Easy Maintenance**: Mattress protectors are easy to remove, clean, and maintain, saving you time and effort in keeping your sleeping area fresh and clean.

How do I know it will fit my caravan or motorhome?
Simply let us know the make, model and year of you van and we make to fit
What does a mattress protector do?
In straightforward terms, a mattress protector is a fitted sheet that is highly durable and resistant. It covers your entire mattress and safeguards it against spills, bacteria, and potential allergens. Furthermore, adding a mattress protector to your bed is a simple task.
How long do mattress protectors last?
To maintain the optimal condition of your mattress protector, be sure to regularly clean it alongside your sheets and replace the protector every one to two years unless noticeable wear and tear is present. Indications such as holes or worn areas on the protector are clear signals that it is time for a replacement.
