What is Single 2 Double bedding?
It is bedding made for a motorhome layout with two fixed single mattresses that convert into a larger double using one or two centre infill cushions.
Is multi-piece bedding the same as Single 2 Double?
Usually, yes. Multi-piece is the general market term. Single 2 Double is our clearer name for the same type of convertible motorhome bed system.
What is the difference between 3-piece and 4-piece bedding?
A 3-piece layout has two single mattresses and one separate infill cushion. A 4-piece layout has two single mattresses and two separate infill cushions.
Will the bedding work when the beds are used as singles?
Yes. The fitted sheets and protectors are supplied as individual pieces, so the two main mattresses remain separately covered when used as singles.
What happens when I make the bed into a double?
Add the covered infill cushion or cushions between the singles. A correctly fitted topper can then create a smoother sleeping surface across the assembled double.
Do I need to buy special duvets?
Not necessarily. Many owners use ordinary single duvets and invest in fitted sheets, protectors or a topper for the specialist mattress layout. Choose only the items that improve how you use the bed.
